“Marlon” -a funny new show for 2017, or is it?

Have you thought about checking out the show “Marlon” on Hulu?

Well maybe you should…

This show is very interesting to me because it follows the comedic life of YouTuber Marlon, (Marlon Wayans), and his relationship with his divorced wife.

Because Marlon is such a funny character, he gets in some interesting situations involving the raising of his two children, his wife’s friend, and his live-in roommate.

The reason that the show works is because Marlon has that elongated, elastic physical style of comedy, that is  perfect for the show’s hip-hop and other social media and pop culture references.

If you get a chance, check out the episode titled “ Appropriate Marlon”, about the shenanigans that he gets into while pretending to be a high-class snob. I was dying on the floor laughing because it was so funny. Especially when he started calling out all of the ‘bourgeoisie’ people that were actually from the inner city.

Check it out on Hulu, as the entire first season is available streaming now. Guaranteed laughter will be had by all, trust me. Unlike some other shows, this show is actually family friendly, and can be watched by children and the entire family.
